Wanted to say that this was a great mention and fantastic video this is addressing. There’s sometimes a question that I hear (typically from white progressives) in leftist spaces about the “lack of black people.” But it’s funny bc when we speak to ppl in our community, many agree with the politics and even individually (or sometimes in black orgs) fight the same battles. But these leftist spaces dont always feel the most inviting, esp to me, a black woman. I would be very happy to organize with other bp with and for our issues.

I personally recommend the DSA and/or the PSL. They are the biggest of the bunch and you will find revolutionaries within both. Look into both, see what your local branches are like, and see which org aligns more with you
